NROSE Intimate Rejuvenation: A Guide for Women Experiencing Menopause, Motherhood and Ageing

Intimate health is an important part of women’s overall wellbeing, yet it’s something many women still feel uncomfortable talking about.

Changes to intimate comfort, hydration, sensitivity and tissue quality can occur at different stages of life. For some women, these changes may become particularly noticeable during perimenopause and menopause, while others may experience them following childbirth or simply as part of getting older.

Symptoms such as dryness, irritation, discomfort during intimacy or changes in the appearance and firmness of intimate tissue can have an impact on confidence and quality of life.

The good news is that these concerns don’t simply have to be accepted as something you have to live with.

At House of Glo, we offer NROSE intimate rejuvenation, a three-part treatment protocol designed to support intimate comfort, hydration, tissue quality and confidence.

What is NROSE intimate rejuvenation?

NROSE is a women’s intimate rejuvenation protocol combining three complementary elements:

  • Intense Rose for hydration, comfort and tissue support
  • Sectum radiofrequency treatment to support tissue tone and stimulate collagen
  • Rejuvenation Rose Gel for ongoing care at home

Rather than being a single treatment, NROSE takes a more comprehensive approach, with each part of the protocol having a specific role.

The aim is to work gradually with your body’s natural processes while addressing some of the intimate changes that can occur throughout a woman’s life.

Why do intimate changes happen?

The intimate area can be affected by hormonal changes, pregnancy, childbirth and the natural ageing process.

During perimenopause and menopause, declining oestrogen levels can contribute to changes in intimate tissue. Some women experience increased dryness or sensitivity, while others notice changes in elasticity, fullness or comfort during intimacy.

Pregnancy and childbirth can also affect the pelvic and intimate tissues. These changes can be physical, but they can also affect how a woman feels about herself and her body.

It’s important to remember that every woman’s experience is different. Some women may experience significant symptoms, while others notice only subtle changes.

Does this sound familiar?

You may have noticed:

  • Dryness or irritation
  • Increased sensitivity
  • Discomfort during intimacy
  • Changes in intimate tissue elasticity or fullness
  • Changes following childbirth
  • Intimate changes associated with perimenopause or menopause
  • Changes that have developed gradually with age
  • Reduced confidence as a result of these changes

These concerns are much more common than many women realise.

Unfortunately, embarrassment can mean that women don’t always seek advice. Some simply assume that these changes are an unavoidable part of getting older.

They aren’t something you should feel embarrassed about discussing.

A private consultation provides an opportunity to talk openly about what you’re experiencing and understand whether treatment could be appropriate for you.

How does NROSE work?

NROSE combines three different elements that are designed to complement one another.

1. Intense Rose: hydration and comfort

Intense Rose is an intimate treatment designed to support moisture, elasticity and fullness in delicate tissue.

This part of the NROSE protocol may be particularly relevant for women experiencing dryness and discomfort associated with hormonal changes, menopause or ageing.

2. Sectum: tone and support

Sectum is a gentle radiofrequency treatment.

Radiofrequency delivers controlled heat to the treatment area, with the aim of stimulating the body’s natural collagen response and supporting tissue tone and firmness.

The treatment forms part of the wider NROSE protocol and is designed to work alongside the other elements rather than as a standalone solution.

3. Rejuvenation Rose Gel: ongoing care at home

The NROSE protocol also includes Rejuvenation Rose Gel for use at home.

This provides continued care between appointments and is designed to help maintain comfort as part of your overall treatment programme.

By combining treatment in clinic with appropriate home care, NROSE takes a more complete approach to intimate rejuvenation.

How many syringes are included in NROSE?

An important part of the NROSE treatment is that the amount of filler used is individualised for each patient.

The treatment package includes up to 3 syringes of filler, with the exact number determined by Nurse Julie following your consultation.

Not every patient will require the same amount.

The number of syringes recommended will depend on factors such as your individual anatomy, the concerns being treated and your desired treatment outcome. Some patients may require fewer than three syringes, while others may benefit from the full three-syringe treatment.

This personalised approach means that treatment is not based on a fixed amount for every patient.

Your recommended treatment plan, including the number of syringes required, will be discussed with you before treatment begins.

Who may benefit from NROSE?

NROSE may be suitable for women experiencing intimate changes associated with:

  • Perimenopause and menopause
  • Hormonal changes
  • Pregnancy and childbirth
  • Natural ageing
  • Changes in intimate tissue quality
  • Dryness or discomfort
  • Changes in tissue tone or elasticity

However, NROSE isn’t suitable for everyone.

A private consultation is an important first step. This allows Nurse Julie to understand your symptoms, medical history and individual circumstances before recommending treatment.

If your symptoms could indicate an underlying medical condition that requires further investigation, you will be advised accordingly.

What happens during an NROSE consultation?

The consultation is designed to be private, relaxed and completely confidential.

You will have time to explain what you’ve noticed and discuss any concerns you may have.

Nurse Julie will talk you through:

  • Your symptoms and concerns
  • Your medical history
  • Your treatment goals
  • Whether NROSE is appropriate for you
  • The different stages of the treatment
  • The number of syringes that may be appropriate
  • What you can expect following treatment
  • Any relevant aftercare

There is no need to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. Intimate health is a medical and wellbeing concern, and having an open conversation is an important part of receiving appropriate care.

Is NROSE painful?

Everyone’s experience of treatment is different.

NROSE involves treatment of a particularly sensitive area, so your comfort is an important consideration throughout the process.

Before treatment, you will be given information about what to expect and the procedure will be explained carefully. Your practitioner will also discuss appropriate aftercare with you.

How soon will I see results?

NROSE is designed to provide gradual changes rather than an instant transformation.

Individual results vary, and the experience will depend on factors including your starting point, the treatment performed and your body’s individual response.

During your consultation, you will be given realistic information about what NROSE may be able to achieve for you.

Why choose House of Glo for intimate rejuvenation?

Intimate treatments require a high level of trust and discretion.

At House of Glo, our approach is centred around providing professional, confidential and supportive care.

Nurse Julie is a menopause-trained nurse prescriber, giving women the opportunity to discuss intimate changes in a medically led environment.

We understand that talking about intimate concerns can initially feel difficult. Our aim is to provide a comfortable, non-judgemental environment where you can ask questions and make an informed decision about your treatment.

Most importantly, treatment is personalised.

The amount of filler used isn’t automatically the same for every patient. Up to 3 syringes may be included within the NROSE package, with the exact number determined according to your individual needs.

Intimate health deserves attention too

Women are often encouraged to accept changes associated with menopause, motherhood and ageing without questioning whether anything can be done.

But intimate wellbeing is part of your overall health and quality of life.

If you’re experiencing dryness, discomfort, changes in tissue quality or simply don’t feel as confident as you once did, it’s worth having a conversation with a suitably qualified practitioner.

You don’t have to feel embarrassed, and you don’t have to make a decision about treatment straight away.

A consultation is simply an opportunity to understand your options.
