There are so many websites in the aesthetics world that it can be hard to know which ones genuinely help people and which ones simply add more noise. The Tweakments Guide sits in a completely different category. It was created by journalist Alice Hart-Davis, who has spent years investigating, testing, and writing about cosmetic treatments from a consumer perspective. Instead of promoting trends or quick fixes, she built a platform designed to help people understand what treatments actually do, who they’re suitable for, and most importantly, which practitioners are genuinely qualified to carry them out.
Her aim was to make the world of aesthetic medicine clearer, safer, and far less overwhelming for the average person. She wanted a space where evidence mattered, qualifications mattered, and practitioners were assessed properly before being recommended.
That ethos is exactly why the Tweakments Guide is considered as such a prestigious and trusted place to find ethical clinicians.
One of the reasons I was happy to share this news is because The Tweakments Guide doesn’t allow practitioners to simply upload their own profiles. You can’t pay to be included or fast-track your way in. They look closely at your qualifications, your clinical background, your treatment approach, and whether you genuinely put patient safety first. Only when they’re comfortable that you practise with integrity do they add your name to the site.
For anyone who’s been thinking about coming to see me but isn’t sure where to start, this listing gives you an extra layer of reassurance. It lets you know that someone independent has looked at my work - my NHS foundation, my experience in practice development, the treatments I specialise in, and the standard of care I offer in clinic - and decided it meets the level they want their readers to find.
It also recognises a part of my practice that’s very close to my heart: the work I do in women’s intimate health. This is an area that requires both clinical skill and a huge amount of sensitivity, and it means a lot to have that acknowledged by a platform built on trust. If you’re someone who needs help but has felt unsure, embarrassed, or hesitant, I hope this gives you a sense that you’re walking into a safe, thoughtful, and well-supported space.
One part of my work that feels especially meaningful is the intimate health side of my practice. I was fortunate enough to train under Dr Farzana, who is one of the leading voices in this field, and that experience shaped the way I care for women today. Her influence strengthened my commitment to offering treatments that are grounded in real science and delivered with the sensitivity this area deserves.
Hormonal shifts, childbirth, ageing, early menopause caused by chemotherapy, dryness, stress incontinence, changes in the labia, or even discomfort from activities like cycling or horse riding… none of this is unusual, and none of it should be ignored. These issues can be incredibly personal, and many women don’t realise that there are gentle, evidence based treatments that can genuinely help.
My approach has always been rooted in kindness, clinical knowledge, and creating a space where women feel safe to say what they’re experiencing without embarrassment. Intimate health is something I care deeply about, and I’ve taken the time to train properly, to understand the anatomy thoroughly, and to offer treatments that support both comfort and confidence.
One treatment pathway I’m particularly proud to offer is the N Rose Protocol by Neauvia. When I first learned about it during my training, it immediately stood out as something that could make a real difference to women who often don’t know where to turn for help. The protocol is thoughtful, evidence based, and designed to support the intimate tissues in a way that feels both gentle and clinically sound.
It brings together three elements that work in harmony:
This combination creates a level of improvement that a single treatment alone simply can’t achieve, which is why it has become such a core part of my intimate health work.
I see women dealing with changes from ageing, childbirth, hormonal shifts, perimenopause, early menopause after chemotherapy, or simply discomfort they’ve carried for years without ever mentioning it. Some come in because of dryness. Some because of stress incontinence. Others because they’ve noticed a loss of support or they feel discomfort when they exercise, cycle, or even sit for long periods. And some just want to feel like themselves again after a season of their life that changed things.
The impact is often far more than skin deep. Women tell me they feel more comfortable day to day, more confident in their bodies, and more in control of an area of their health they thought they just had to “put up with.”
For me, offering this protocol isn’t about aesthetics. It’s about comfort, function, and dignity, and giving women access to a treatment pathway that actually honours what their body has been through.
As a Brand Ambassador for Neauvia, I’m closely involved with ongoing training and education in this field. That role means a lot to me because it reflects the care and attention I bring to women’s intimate health - and the belief that every woman deserves support that is safe, scientific, and delivered with compassion.
When it comes to intimate health, trust isn’t optional…. it’s everything!! Women need a place where they can read, learn, and explore their concerns without feeling judged or embarrassed, and that’s one of the reasons the Tweakments Guide means so much to me. It gives women a safe starting point, somewhere they can gather proper information and find practitioners who genuinely understand both the clinical and emotional sides of this work.
Being listed there helps women in Manchester who don’t know where to turn find me more easily, and it reassures them that they’re coming to someone who takes this part of their wellbeing seriously. It reflects the years I’ve spent training, choosing evidence based treatments, and building a practice where comfort and clarity always come first.
If you decide to come to House of Glo for intimate health support, you’ll notice very quickly that nothing is rushed. We take our time. We talk through anatomy, expectations, options, and comfort levels in a way that feels calm and grounded. Every plan is tailored, and every step is explained so you feel informed rather than overwhelmed. There’s no pressure and no room for that “one size fits all” approach that so many women have been handed in the past.
What matters to me is improving quality of life, whether you’re navigating menopause, recovering from cancer treatment, noticing changes after childbirth, or dealing with discomfort that’s been brushed aside for years. This listing doesn’t change the way I work, but it does make it easier for the women who need this support to find a clinician they can trust.
